Victron Lynx Distributor (M10) | Part of the Lynx distribution system
for 12V / 24V / 48V battery systems | 4 Mega fuses | 4 LEDs for displaying the fuse status
The Lynx Distributor is a component of the modular Victron Lynx distribution system. However, it can also be used completely independently of the Lynx system as a modular DC busbar.
The Lynx Distributor contains a positive and a negative busbar. The positive busbar has four slots for MEGA DC fuses. The fuse status is monitored and indicated by LEDs on the top of the housing. The negative busbar also has the four fuse connections and an earth connection. Up to four Lynx distributors can send their fuse status information to the Lynx Smart BMS. If the Lynx distributor is connected to a Lynx Shunt VE.Can, no fuse statuses are transmitted.
The Lynx Distributor communicates the operating status and the status of each fuse to a Lynx Smart BMS via the RJ10 cable. The data can then be retrievedvia the VictronConnect app, a GX device such as the Cerbo GX MK2 and the VRM portal.
The Lynx Distributor (M10) is also availableas Lynx Distributor (M8). Please note that M8 and M10 refer to the busbar connections to which the modules are connected. The fuse and cable connections are always M8.

Fuses for the Victron Lynx Distributor (M10)
The Lynx Distributor is designed to hold MEGA fuses. These must be purchased separately. You can find them in our installation accessories in the fuse elements category .
If a fuse blows, the red fuse LED lights up, the mains LED turns red and an alarm message is sent to a connected Lynx Smart BMS.
Victron Connect app for the Victron Lynx Distributor (M10)
When the Lynx Distributor is connected to a Lynx Smart BMS, it can be monitored and set up using the VictronConnect app. Further information can be found on the download page for the VictronConnect app and in the VictronConnect manual, which is available here in the download area of this product.
GX devices for the Victron Lynx Distributor (M10)
The Lynx Shunt VE.Can can be monitored and adjusted with an Victron GX device. Further information on the GX device can be found on the product page of the respective GX device. The GX device can be connected to the VRM portal for remote monitoring. Further information on the VRM portal can be found on the VRM page.

It is a reliable and efficient solution for the distribution of direct current. Whether you are looking for a clean, convenient and space-saving solution in a motorhome, expedition vehicle, boat or home installation, the modular system allows you to customise DC distribution to your individual needs.This system enables proper distribution and protection of DC power for various loads and components such as batteries, chargers, inverters and other electrical devices, and is easy to install and operate, making it an ideal choice for use in mobile or stationary applications.
The Lynx distribution system can consist of the following components:
- Lynx Power In (M8) and Lynx Power In (M10) - A positive and negative busbar with 4 connections for batteries or DC devices.
- Lynx Class-T Power In (M10) - A positive and negative busbar that connects and protects up to two strings of lithium batteries with Class-T fuses (available in 225A, 250A, 350A and 400A; must be purchased separately).
- Lynx Distributor (M8) and Lynx Distributor (M10) - A positive and negative busbar with 4 fused connections for batteries or DC devices together with fuse monitoring.
- Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M8) and Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M10) - A positive busbar with a free space for a main system fuse and a negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring. It has VE.Can communication for monitoring and setup with a GX device.
- Lynx Smart BMS 500 (M8) and Lynx Smart BMS 1000 (M10) - For use with the Victron Energy Smart Lithium batteries. It consists of a positive busbar with a contactor controlled by a battery management system (BMS) and a negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring. It has Bluetooth communication for monitoring and setup via the VictronConnect app and VE.Can communication for monitoring with a GX device and the VRM portal.
- Lynx Smart BMS 500 NG (M10) and Lynx Smart BMS 1000 NG (M10) - For use with Victron Energy lithium batteries. It consists of a positive busbar with a contactor controlled by a battery management system (BMS) and a negative busbar with a shunt for battery monitoring. It has Bluetooth communication for monitoring and set-up via the VictronConnect app and VE.Can communication for monitoring with a GX device and the VRM portal.

System example for the Victron Lynx Distributor (M10)
This system consists of the following components:
- Lynx Distributor with 2 fused parallel Lithium Battery Smart batteries with identical cable lengths for each battery (up to 5 parallel series strings can be used per system).
- Lynx Smart BMS with BMS, contactor and battery monitor
- Lynx Distributor has fused connections for inverter/charger(s), loads and chargers. If more connections are required, additional modules can be added.
- An Cerbo GX (or other GX device) to read the data from the Lynx Smart BMS and Lynx Distributor.
System example with the Victron Lynx Distributor (M10) only
In this system, it does not matter on which side the batteries, DC loads or chargers are connected. Several Lynx Distributors and/or Lynx Power Ins can be used.
Please note that the Lynx Distributor LEDs are not functional without a Lynx Shunt VE.Can or Lynx Smart BMS. However, from a design point of view, it may make sense to use the Lynx Distributor de-energised as there is a need for a fused busbar but not necessarily a need to indicate a blown fuse.
