The new SuperSense Pro sensors with more power and robustness are the revised versions of the well-known solution for level measurement in a wide variety of tanks. The SuperSense level sensors, which have been used by a wide range of industries for years, have been revised and are now available in a Pro version.

The SuperSense PRO Laser is a sensor that measures the fill level using a laser and does not require any mechanical components. Measurements are taken from the top of the tank with a clear view of the tank floor. This makes it the ideal measuring instrument for almost all types of tanks. The sensor was designed for retrofitting and can be adapted to all tank heights (up to 200cm) within seconds at the touch of a button. The SuperSense Pro Laser can be used immediately and calibrates itself. The sensor data is displayed via the optional SuperSense display, via app or on your original control panel (please check / enquire about compatibility beforehand). Depending on the control panel and tank, level measurement in 1% increments is possible.

The kit includes all components to measure a tank up to 200cm high and display the measurement data via Bluetooth in the SuperSense app / DigiCamper app. They can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Playstore. A power supply in the range of 10 - 30V DC is all that is required for operation.

How the SuperSense Pro laser works

The sensor is mounted on the top of the tank and connected to a power supply. The sensor can then measure tanks with a height of up to 200 cm without any additional accessories. A laser beam scans the surface of the tank and calculates the exact fill level.

The programming button

This sensor can be adapted to almost all tanks with just one button. In addition to the one-off calibration required (remains stored even in the event of a power failure), it can also be used to display the current fill level. To do this, the button is pressed briefly and the LED then lights up in one colour. The level can then be read off from the colour of the LED using the level meter printed on the sensor.

Installation:

The sensor is only installed from the top of the tank with a clear view of the tank floor. The sensor is attached by screwing it into an existing 3/4 inch thread or as a single-hole installation by drilling a 27 mm hole in the tank and attaching the sensor from the inside of the tank with a 3/4 inch nut. However, this requires a cleaning opening in the tank in order to screw on the nut from the inside.

If there is no 3/4 inch screw-in thread and no tank cleaning opening in the immediate vicinity of the installation location of the sensor, the QuickConnect SS-QC-43 can be used to realise a simple installation.
