If no shore power is available and the induction hob is to be operated on an inverter, an inverter with a pure sine wave output is required. The input power of the hob is 1,800 watts, so the inverter should have a continuous output of at least 1,800 watts.

How induction plates work
Induction hobs are a safe, advanced, efficient and economical cooking technology. They work by electromagnetic vibrations that generate heat directly in the pan or pot and not indirectly by heating the glass surface. The glass only gets hot because the pan or pot heats it.
Advantages of the induction hob
The induction hob is operated with a standard voltage of 230V AC and can be connected to a standard household socket or a sine wave inverter. As Sterling Power hobs have an output of up to 1800 W, they are almost 50 % more powerful than gas hobs and achieve high cooking temperatures.
Control panel
The separate, wired control panel of the induction hob allows you to install it flexibly in the worktop or kitchen unit. It makes it easy to control the hob. The power levels, functions and timer can be set on the control panel and, of course, the hob can be switched on and off.
Worktop
The induction hob, with a diameter of 288 mm, allows you to use large pots or pans. Alternatively, two small pots can also be used on this plate. This means that up to two gas hobs can be replaced. The surface of the induction hob is also easier to clean than a gas hob.
Safety
The integrated overheating, voltage and current protection ensures the necessary safety in your mini-kitchen. This is complemented by the automatic switch-off after 1 minute without induction cookware.
